The 5 km-long ski runs are among the longest in Japan. Shizukuishi Ski Resort, where the World Alpine Skiing Championships were once held, is located adjacent to Shizukuishi Golf Course. Both offer a range of facilities, catering to all ability levels.
Shizukuishi Prince Hotel is an excellent resort hotel. You can also take a short trip to other ski resorts such as Amihari and Hachimantai, and an indoor theme park, "Kenji World" with hot springs and a wave pool.
